As the Buffalo Bills prepare to face a new opponent each week White Lorenzo Alexander Jersey , fans take on the age-old arch-nemesis know as “hunger.” Never fear, Buffalo Rumblings has just the playbook to take down this foe. Each week, we’ll dive into enemy territory to scout their signature moves and put a “Buffalo” spin on it. Translated, each week we’ll share a themed recipe based on who the Bills are playing, including a custom wing sauce to go with each dish. Our opponent this week:Indianapolis ColtsWings and popcorn: Oh my goodness was it tough to think of a recipe this week. Indianapolis often gets picked on for being boring and... Well, maybe there’s some merit to that. Tenderloin sandwiches are a thing apparently, but that’s hardly “signature.” So in honor of a seemingly bland city, we’re going back to wings and using a seemingly bland ingredient in its “honor.” A word of caution, wing purists may want to sit down and grab a paper bag as we enter the realm of “Is he really adding THAT to his sauce?” Also, Indiana is known for popcorn and we put wing sauce on that too. Wings and popcornServes 3-4Active Time: 15 Minutes (excludes wing time) Total Time:20 MinutesIngredients:1 cup hot sauce4 Tbsp butter 1鈦? cup miniature marshmallows20-24wings (already cooked)* 4 tsp olive oil 3 Tbsp popcorn kernelsGrated Parmesan cheesePrepare SauceAdd hot sauce to large pot, simmer on HIGH for 2-3 minutesAdd butter White Jordan Mills Jersey , reduce heat to MED, stirring constantlyAdd marshmallows, stir until thoroughly mixed, set aside**PopcornAdd olive oil to a large pot and heat on HIGHPlace two or three kernels in the oil as test popcorn and coverWhen the test kernels pop, add the rest and cover againOnce corn starts popping gently shake pot to prevent burningPop til they stop (or at least slow down to a couple seconds between pops)Putting it togetherPlace wings in large pot with sauce, turn heat to MED/HIGHToss wings to thoroughly coatRemove wingsDrizzle leftover sauce over popcorn, to taste***Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over popcornWingin’ It Tips:*To shorten the article this week, here’s the link for week one where we discuss cooking the wings. **Marshmallows? For real? Yep. We discussed in Week two how a little sugar can help balance acidity and can add flavor. Marshmallows balance everything else, but add little flavor to land with a pretty traditional profile. Most importantly, this settles the age old debate of blue cheese vs. ranch. The correct answer is “more wing sauce.” The marshmallow addition makes the sauce thicker and sticky. The sauce coat on these is incredible. ***There is a risk of creating soggy popcorn. This will still be delicious but might not be for everyone. Drizzle lightly and toss popcorn for a more even coat. The Beer: While we’re going a little more daring with the sauce, we add a little twist to the beer as well. Beer products provided by Labatt USA. Please drink responsibly. Coming soon! The Bills host the New England Patriots for Monday Night Football! What could be argued to be the biggest game for fans in years deserves one of the biggest recipes. The only remaining question if it this custom creation will last long enough to photograph. Just like everyone expected Youth LeSean McCoy Jersey , the Buffalo Bills - starting their fourth quarterback of the year in Matt Barkley - are putting together their best offensive performance of the season against the New York Jets. Their defense is equally effective, smothering the Jets with a scoreless result. It’s 31-3 at halftime. The first quarter was all Buffalo, from start to finish. On the first play from scrimmage, Matt Barkley hooked up with Robert Foster for a 48 yard completion. The next play, LeSean McCoy ran in a 28 yard touchdown, his first score of the season. The Bills forced three three-and-outs by the Jets, with the front seven consistently blowing up run plays and bringing pressure to disrupt the passing schedule. On their third drive, Buffalo extended the drive with a fake punt. Logan Thomas took the snap and threw the ball to Foster for a 16 yard gain. Barkley found Zay Jones in the red zone for a completion, and Jones tried diving for the goalline. A scrum of Jets forced Jones to fumble, but Jason Croom showed great awareness diving on the ball in the end zone, giving Buffalo their second score of the day. By the end of the first quarter Youth Dion Dawkins Jersey , the Bills led the Jets 14-0, with 186 yards of offense - to New York’s single yard. The Bills started the second quarter with the ball, but on a fourth-and-one play LeSean McCoy made an illegal shift to wipe out his conversion. The team settled for a field goal to take a 17-0 lead. After the Jets’ fourth three-and-out, the boo birds started flying in the Meadowlands. Announcer Jay Feely remarked on the attitude difference between the two sidelines at that point. The difference continued when Buffalo took over on offense. Jones continued finding holes in the Jets defense, and the tag team of McCoy and Marcus Murphy dragged the Bills into the red zone yet again. Then it was time for another trick play. Left tackle Dion Dawkins, declared an eligible receiver, faked a block and leaked into the end zone, where Matt Barkley connected with him for the first touchdown pass of the afternoon. The Jets finally managed their first first down of the day, converting a 3rd and 16 with an 18-yard screen play. They weren’t able to capitalize on that success, though - a Bills blitz forced Josh McCown into a desperation heave, which Matt Milano intercepted and brought back to midfield.Buffalo ran the ball seven times for 54 yards on their final drive of the half Youth Tre'Davious White Jersey , needing no passes to score one more time. LeSean McCoy appeared to score earlier in the drive, but was ruled down at essentially the six inch line. He punched it in for real two plays later. The Jets scored a consolation three at the end of the half, navigating soft coverage with three timeouts to convert a 55 yard field goal. The Bills, taking advantage of a bad team, some injuries, and their aggressive decisions, would need a dramatic reversal to lose this one - they’re up 28 points, and the Jets have lost 14 straight while losing at halftime.
